review of Skip Quincy Shortstop by Jean Joachim Bottom of the Ninth series

Skip Quincy, Shortstop (Bottom of the Ninth Book 6)Skip Quincy, Shortstop by Jean Joachim
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this book as ARC in exchange for an honest review, these are my thoughts...

This book by far is my favorite in the series. This is the story of a young man that lost his family early in life and was in search of love and acceptance ever since.

My heart broke for Skip. After reading this story twice just to really get the feel of the book - of Skip and his story. It made me think about how Skip felt about himself. Given his early life, he never really gave himself over to the thought of ever truly being enough to be truly loved for who he was as a person.
The book kept my interested from start to finish as I really wanted to see the direction that the author took with these characters. Yes, I would recommend this book to my friends.
