Review of Naughty by Nature by J.M. Madden

Naughty by Nature (The Lowells of Honeywell, Texas, #2)Naughty by Nature by J.M. Madden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Author J.m. Madden never ceases to amaze me with the emotional depth of her books. There were silent tears streaming down my cheeks as I read parts of this book. She gives you a connection to her characters that makes them feel as if you have known them all of your life. Her words paint a story in our heads and in our hearts. Any woman who has been abused can relate to Cheyenne Lowell and her story. Any man who has lost the love of his life to breast cancer (or any type of cancer) can relate to this story as well. I'm not going to give away the story line, that's not my thing. I'm here to tell you how this book grabbed me emotionally and left me utterly satisfied with the ending.

This is not a series for just women, I feel that men can get a lot out of this series as well. Ms. Madden does her homework and knows her stuff when it comes to PTSD, Abuse of any sort and of course she can write one hell of a bad guy! I think that her years spent in Law Enforcement has given her a better knowledge than most when it comes to some of the kinds of subject matter that she writes about in her books.

From the first page she's snared me with Cheyenne's story, making me want to know more about her and about Sheriff Sheridan Lane. As I turned pages into the wee hours of the night, I knew that I wasn't willing to put my kindle down until one of two things happened...I finished the book or my kindle bonked me in the face, lucky for me I finished the book.

Review of Tinder Ella by Eddie Cleveland

Tinder Ella: A Modern Day Single Dad Fairy-TaleTinder Ella: A Modern Day Single Dad Fairy-Tale by Eddie Cleveland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mr. Cleveland once again proves to me that he truly knows who to write a romance! He draws you in from the fist page and keeps your interst going until we get what we want...a Happily Ever After.
We get a back story on our characters, feel their fear of rejection, their angst and we also feel their love and joy.
I truly enjoyed this modern twist on Cinderella and you will too!
