Review of Untying His Not by J.M. Madden

Untying His Not (The Lowells of Honeywell, Texas, #1)Untying His Not by J.M. Madden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this book as an ARC and liked it so much that I bought it!

Brock Lowell is certainly one misunderstood cowboy! With so many things going on in his life all at once, it's obvious that he's feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Payton is a woman who knows what she wants, and she's wanted Brock Lowell for a LONG TIME! The simmering attraction between Brock and Payton is going to turn into a Full on BOIL that's going to Steam up Your Glasses! So pour yourself a tall glass of ice tea, turn the ceiling fan on high and be prepared to have your socks knocked off as Ms. Madden shows us all how lovin' is done Cowboy Style!

Book Review Redeeming the Rancher by Charlene Sands

Redeeming the Texas Rancher (Forever Texan, #3)Redeeming the Texas Rancher by Charlene Sands
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion of what I've read. Ms Sands writes a wonderful Friends to Lovers story with our h and H Dakota (Day) and Cole. Both unknowing of the others true feelings. It was wonderful reading this story and it can be read as a stand alone.

About the Book:

Falling out of love with Colby Ryan wasn't working...

There hasn't been a woman who's held Colby Ryan's heart for long, not since his teenage love went awry twelve years ago. Now, all of a sudden, Dakota Jennings, his longtime family friend and trusted wrangler on the Circle R ranch, is catching his eye. For Dakota’s sake, Colby won't ever give in to the temptation she poses.

Dakota has been secretly in love with Colby since the age of ten, but his sense of honor and the Texas code he lives by won’t allow her permanence in his heart. Up until this point, he’d never hinted at romance between them and yet, falling out of love with him just plain isn’t working.

Colby has always protected Dakota, and he isn’t about to stop now. If he gives in to his desire, she stands to lose far too much. Colby doesn’t deserve her love, he's already ruined one life, but the binds that tie them are strong. Can Dakota be the woman to redeem his broken soul?

Book Review Kismet by April Canavan

Kismet (Birch County Blue Book 1)Kismet by April Canavan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this book as an ARC and this is my onion of what I've read...

This is my first book by April Canavan and WOW what a total surprise! I was immediately drawn into the story and wanted to know more. I was able to finish it in a day. I was engrossed, I wanted to know more, feel more and there I was flipping pages than my daughter can flip pancakes! I'm looking forward to reading more about our main characters Maya and Brain and possibly get a back story on them too.

book review Renegade- Rodeo Knights by Laura Marie Altom

Renegade (Rodeo Knights, #5)Renegade by Laura Marie Altom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Murder, Mystery and Mayhem and a second chance romance with a Navy SEAL - Hooo Wheee!

Laura Marie Altom knows how to write suspense! Hang on people because this is one heck of a ride! I'm not going to give you a chapter by chapter run down, that's not my style. Rather I'll give you my opinion...

This was so good that I read it twice in order to be able to give my review justice. I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book. There were times that I had actual goosebumps. The heartache and suffering that our Main characters Delilah Bowing and Sawyer Crow not to mention the hardships they experienced because of another person tugged at my heartstrings. The Murder, Mystery and Mayhem in this book is wonderfully written and it's a well thought out plot! I'm usually pretty good at figuring out the plot, but there were some twists and turns that I did not see coming! Mighty fine writing and I was stunned!
So, in conclusion- If you like murder mysteries like I do, you're going to LOVE this book!

Review of Royal's Redemption by AC Wilson

Royal's RedemptionRoyal's Redemption by A.C. Wilson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received Royal's Redemption as an ARC and this is my honest review, but I'll have you know that I also purchased this book.

Ms Wilson can write angst and unspoken heartache, the kind that leaves silent tears streaming down your face and a lump in your throat. Don't read this book without tissues in hand. My current Book Hangover today I clearly blame on Ms Wilson! I fell asleep with my kindle in hand and woke up needing a full carafe of coffee and started reading some more. I read it for a second time to get that angsty feel that is throughout this book. My nose has finally stopped running and here I am typing away finally finding the words that eluded me yesterday.
You could feel the instant connection between Royal and Anisley. There is a mystery to be solved in this book and frustrations to overcome when you see our two main characters lack of communication with one another. You knew that they loved one another but were so afraid to let themselves feel that vulnerable to anyone, you feel that throughout the entire book. There's a lot to be said about Royal as he matures as he grows into the man I hoped he would be. I hope that we see more of this couple in the future.
