review of Miss Bingley's Christmas by Renata McMann

Miss Bingley's ChristmasMiss Bingley's Christmas by Renata McMann
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a first for me-reading a book from Miss Bingley's perspective. It was everything charming and delightful. She starts off as this bitter person, the one we love to hate in every rendition of Pride and Prejudice, but as she spent in company of what she called "the less fashionable", she started seeing things in a different manner. We see a big change in Caroline and it's one that I loved seeing.
This book is not one to be passed upon! Make sure to pick up a copy and see how the Christmas Spirit can change a lonely bitter woman to one who finds love in the least expected place.

review of Lost and Found Pieces by J.M. Madden

Lost and Found Pieces (Lost and Found, #5.7)Lost and Found Pieces by J.M. Madden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No Christmas is complete without a Lost and Found Christmas Story! Author JM Madden has given her fans a true gift-it’s seeing their favorite Lost and Found members at Christmas.
Zeke & Ember and Little Drew will tug at your heart strings.
Gabe & Julie- growing stronger together.
John & Shannon- you’re going to see the growth in their relationship and how having a house full of pets and a couple of babies has filled him full of love and appreciation for the riches he has in his life. Caden and Wyatt- twin little boys I hope we see more of as they grow. Poor Pickle- keep that cat in your prayers people, LOL!
And you get to meet Sam Willet my favorite ginger, really meet him! You find out about his injuries (a lot of research went into his injury and it’s a whopper). He’s a hero in every sense of the word in”The Purple Christmas Miracle”.
Sparrow Holmes is our heroine and it’s a match made the LNF way! Sparrow is surprising as much as she is refreshing in Willet eyes. Willet saw Sparrow, really saw her for her and not just her purple hair. I’m looking forward to seeing their relationship evolve. 💜 Thank you JM Madden for this wonderful heartwarming series of Christmas Novellas. Merry Christmas!

As You Were, Cowboy (Lone Star Leathernecks Book 2)As You Were, Cowboy by Heather Long

Characters written in such a way that the situations felt real. A story that you can happily get lost in while reading.

review of Flowers in Winter by Mary J Williams

Flowers in Winter (Hart of Rock and Roll #5)Flowers in Winter by Mary J. Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

when an author who writes a book that touches you, you read her books...all of them. Then she writes a book that just is the best thing next to a slice of chocolate cake and coffee- that would be this book!
Her characters are life like and likable. Tula and Fleet, truly the best book in this series!
Ms Williams books are the kind that stay with you, ones you read and reread more than once. Ones you not only have in e-format but hard copy on a physical book shelf. You’ll tell your friends to read her books because they are that good. She’s not filling the pages of her books with meaningless physical encounters, she’s pulling you in with situations and back stories of her characters so you get to know them.
I’m not giving you ANY scoop on what happens in this book, I want you to buy the series and discover this wonderful series for yourself. To discover that there’s more to this talented writer/author then just this book or series.

Review of Defenseless by Elizabeth Dyer

Defenseless (Somerton Security #1)Defenseless by Elizabeth Dyer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elizabeth Dyer writes one action packed suspense! The characters she wrote have chemistry. Parker is more than a tech geek and Georgia is more than an ex- Marine (is there even a thing as an ex-Marine?). The characters are likeable, the plot moves at a good pace and keeps the reader interested.
I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley and this is my honest of what I’ve read.

Review of Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan

Cowboy Up (Coming Home, #3)Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give this book a solid 4 star rating
Having not read the series and starting with what is apparently the last book, I felt a little lost as to what other reviewers felt while reading this book. BUT that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it (I just have to go read the others in the series).

Clay and Caroline have this instant attraction and spent a hot night together. They have an undeniable charts chemistry in this book . There are good guys, bad guys and poor Caroline has a string of bad-luck that would make me want to hide, but all in all she's feeling more secure and more confident because of the love she and Clay share for one another.

I received this as an ARC through Netgalley and this is my honest opinion of what I've read.
